I’ve spent over 5 years helping singers, teachers, and creatives unlock their full potential — whether that means finding their voice, refining their craft, or building a purposeful career. My background is a bit of a mix: jazz performance, nursing, music higher education, vocal pedagogy, and performing arts medicine. It’s given me a unique perspective on how the body, mind, and artistry work together, and I love blending artistic insight with evidence-based practice to support singers and teachers at every stage of their journey.
I founded BAST Training to help singers turn their passion for music into confident, sustainable teaching careers.
When I’m not teaching, coaching or lecturing, you’ll find me listening to Terry Pratchett audiobooks, drinking herbal tea, befriending anyone who owns a Border Terrier, or working with the Castlefield Forum to protect and enhance Manchester’s beautiful heritage and green spaces.
